the cool weather transition...
The close of summer is always bittersweet. Although the Alice Walk team is sad to leave the blissful summer months behind, we are delighted to step back into fall attire. The launch of Alice Walk Knitwear has been in the works for quite some time and we are excited to finally share some head-to-toe styled looks with you here on the blog and on our AW Weekly Edit via Instagram. Our knitwear is designed to be a staple in every woman’s wardrobe — our sweaters are here to take you from work wear when you’re ‘on duty’ to lounging when you’re ‘off duty’ — without ever sacrificing comfort. The work look we have styled consists of our Alice Walk Blue Sweater paired with our Pencil Skirt in the Navy and Light Blue Dotted Tweed. At first thought, some might be hesitant to piece together a layered outfit containing strictly blue shades. However, the monochromatic color scheme combined with the dotted textures in the tweed skirt make for a very pleasing ensemble. Pulling it altogether with a nude block heel adds a sophisticated (yet comfortable) flare.
weekend:
Transitioning to weekend should be easy. Our weekend look is styled with the same Alice Walk Blue Sweater combined with your go-to pair of blue jeans (we all have that one pair of favorites in our closet). Adding a flat shoe gives the look some ease, while still bringing in an overall sense of composure. As we shift into the cooler months, the Alice Walk Car Coat is another great staple piece to bring the outfit together - pictured above is the Blush Pink color way.
